Alvora Resort had such a beautiful, well-maintained property. The staff was extremely polite and welcoming, and the rooms were neat and clean. A special mention to the pool and lawn area — our kids loved it. Being so close to Prem Sarovar made our Barsana darshan very convenient. This stay made our Braj trip extra special and memorable.

A sacred pond just outside Barsana on the road to Nandgaon, Prem Sarovar is believed to be where Radha and Krishna first met. Its peaceful waters and evening aarti make it a deeply spiritual spot, and it sits just minutes from the resort.
Also known as the Ladli Ji or Shreeji Temple, this is Barsana's most important shrine, perched atop Bhanugarh Hill. Dedicated to Radha Rani, it offers panoramic views of the town and comes alive during Lathmar Holi and other festivals.
Right by Prem Sarovar, Sanket is revered in local legend as a meeting place of Radha and Krishna. Its quiet lanes and shrines make it a favourite stop for pilgrims exploring the western Braj circuit around Barsana.
Set on top of Brahmagiri Hill, Mor Kutir marks the spot where Radha and Krishna are said to have taken the form of a peacock and peahen to dance together. It's a short, scenic climb with lovely views over the Braj countryside.
